Isuzu Malaysia Sdn Bhd (IMSB) has further expanded the offering of its heavy-duty GIGA range by launching today, four new EURO 5 compliant prime mover models to cater to the growing market demand for high performance, durable and cleaner emission trucks.
The new 2026 Isuzu GIGA prime mover range is available in Automatic Manual Transmission (AMT) and Manual Transmission (MT) options. The models include the EK5 410T (MT), EK5 410T (AMT), EW5 410 (MT), and EW5 460 (AMT).
The launch, hosted by IMSB’s senior management team and held in the company of customers and the media, reflects the company’s promise to offer a wider and more enhanced prime mover range in tandem with customers’ demand for higher efficiency in a constantly evolving market landscape.

EURO 5 standard GH11 Engine Delivers on Power, Fuel Efficiency and Environmental Protection
For fleet operators dealing in heavy haulage, the new GIGA prime movers are set to surpass expectations with strong engine performance. All the models are equipped with the powerful EURO 5-emission standard Blue Power GH 11 Diesel Engine. This 11-liter with six-cylinder heavy-duty diesel engine is powerful yet fuel efficient and produces clean emissions. Supported by a 405-litre capacity fuel tank, the engine is built to generate torque in a wide revolution range. The MT models come with 9-speed gear whilst the AMT models have 12-speed gear.
A key highlight is it utilizes the Selective Catalytic Reduction System (SCR) Technology which reduces nitrogen oxides emission, thus contributing to enhanced environmental protection, better fuel efficiency, and improved long-term cost of ownership with lower maintenance requirements. AdBlue, a diesel exhaust fluid applied in vehicles with SCR technology to reduce the release of harmful gases is also available at Isuzu service centers nationwide.
Equipped with Comprehensive Safety Features
Safety is a non-compromising aspect and the new Isuzu GIGA prime movers come equipped with a range of technologies. The SRS Airbag, with pretensioner seatbelts, provides added occupant protection.
The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) upgrades function together by automatically distributing the ideal brake force for all wheels based on the weight of the load, road condition and speed.
For the EK5 410T (AMT) and EW5 460 (AMT) model, the Electronic Vehicle Stability Control (EVSC) safety feature plays a crucial role for active safety. It monitors steering input and wheel speed to prevent rollovers, skids, and loss of control by automatically reduces engine power and applies individual brakes to stabilize the vehicle during critical maneuvers or slippery road condition.
State-of-the-Art Cabin Functionality and Comfort
The cabin is designed with a focus on the driver, providing spaciousness, comfort and an array of dashboard functionality to maximize ease of driving.
